The horse did not sustain any injuries.

A 61-year-old Mississauga woman is facing assault and weapons charges after a Toronto police horse was allegedly struck with a flagpole.

While officers were conducting crowd management on March 30 at a demonstration in the Gerrard Street East and Parliament Street area, Toronto police claim that a woman “intentionally used a flagpole to strike” a horse with the Toronto force.
